All costs are in New Zealand Dollars and include GST at 15%. Early bird rates close Thursday 18 June at 5pm NZ time. Standard rates will then apply until Thursday 17 September. Following this late rates will apply.

*To be eligible for a student registration you must be a current student (with relevant identification).


Full and student registration inclusions

  • Attendance at all conference sessions (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)
  • Daily catering (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Excludes Wednesday)
  • Welcome reception ticket, additional tickets can be purchased for $80 incl GST
  • Ability to purchase tickets to the Conference dinner for $160 incl GST
  • Ability to attend Wednesday field trips and purchase pre conference tours

Day registration inclusions

  • Attendance at all conference sessions on your selected day
  • Daily catering on your selected day (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea)
  • Ability to purchase tickets to the welcome reception for $80 incl GST
  • Ability to purchase tickets to the Conference dinner for $160 incl GST

 

Letter of invitation

For those delegates who require a letter of invitation to support their visa application, please contact Diana France diana@conference.nz with your full contact details and passport number. Please note we are unable to contact New Zealand Immigration on your behalf to assist with visas. We recommend you start the visa application process as soon as possible.

Student and indigenous travel grants

AFSS is offering travel grants to support student and indigenous AFSS members wishing to attend the conference. Details on how to apply can be found here.

 

Terms and conditions

Registrations cannot be shared. 

Cancellations Should you need to cancel your registration, you may reassign your registration to another person. Please notify the Anna Mills, annam@conference.nz in writing. If you are unable to arrange a replacement, a full refund less an administration charge of $150 will be made providing notification is received by Thursday 18 June. After this date, refunds will be at the discretion of the organisers. If, for reasons beyond the control of the organisers, the 11th INTECOL International Wetlands Conference is cancelled, then the registration fee will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred.

Accommodation cancellations within 45 days of the 11th INTECOL International Wetlands Conference are subject to a cancellation fee based on individual hotel policies.

Conditions
11th INTECOL International Wetlands Conference Organising Committee and Conference Innovators reserve the right to deny entry and/or terminate the registration of any person who demonstrates behaviour that is deemed to be inappropriate and/or a risk to others.

Registrations received by Conference Innovators will not be considered as confirmed unless payment has been received and processed. Non-payment or non-attendance will be taken as a cancellation on the day of the 11th INTECOL International Wetlands Conference and will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. Neither the 11th INTECOL International Wetlands Conference Organising Committee nor Conference Innovators covers individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the 11th INTECOL International Wetlands Conference or for theft or damage to belongings.

Liability
11th INTECOL International Wetlands Conference Organising Committee and Conference Innovators will not accept any responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by delegates in the course of the 11th INTECOL International Wetlands Conference. Nor will the 11th INTECOL International Wetlands Conference Organising Committee and Conference Innovators take responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the 11th INTECOL International Wetlands Conference or associated activities.
